All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
A very large oval sapphire is held clear of the band on four white prongs, with no halo and nothing else at the center. The diamonds are all in the shank, which divides into two parallel rows of pave running down each shoulder and closing again toward the back, so the light approaches the stone from below and along the finger instead of circling it.
The sapphire weighs 6.20 carats, the largest here, against 0.26 carats of diamond in those rows. The stone is dark enough that the split shank supplies most of the brightness in the piece, and white gold throughout means nothing warms the blue at any point. The head sits high above the finger and the double bands read as a wide setting at size 7 US.
