This one is built in two colors of metal. The oval sapphire is held in yellow gold claws, but each shoulder is a white rail pave set with a row of small diamonds, run alongside a plain yellow band so that a warm line and a bright line travel down the finger together. Seen from above the shank looks doubled, and the yellow only returns fully at the claws and the back of the shank.
The sapphire is 6.20 carats, wide enough to cover the width of the finger, with 0.26 carats of diamond in the two rows. A stone this deep in tone takes almost nothing back from a bright setting, which is why the diamond line matters more here than its weight suggests: it draws the edge that the sapphire itself will not.
