Six marquise-cut blue sapphires radiate from a bright round center, laid out as a flower with a small round white stone dropped into each gap between the petal tips. The cluster spans most of the finger width and flares to a point at every axis, so it reads as a star at conversational distance and only resolves into separate petals close up.
Blue sapphire accounts for 1.48 carats and the white topaz for 0.56 carats. The marquise cut is doing the work: each petal draws light down its length instead of returning it in one flash, which gives the head a slow turn as the hand moves. Fine prongs keep the outline open, and the slim shank crosses under the cluster at size 6 US so the piece sits high and compact.
