Pear cut, point up, three claws each: one at the tip and two under the wide end, so the mount barely touches the stone. The blue runs deep, much closer to navy than to a bright cornflower, and it holds that depth across most of the face, opening into a lighter blue only along the lower facets where light gets under the pavilion. Two stones, 1.59 carats, 8 by 6 millimeters apiece.
Solid 10K white gold keeps the setting cool and minimal. Against white metal the darkness of the sapphire reads as weight rather than as shadow, and the pointed outline gives the pair more shape at the lobe than a round stone of the same size would.
