Oval cut sapphires, set upright at the ear rather than across it, each one caught by four white gold claws at the quarters. The pair carries 1.88 carats between them, and at eight by six millimeters they cover more of the lobe than rounds of the same weight would.
The blue is not uniform across either stone. Broad facets run toward near black at the ends while the table opens into a clearer mid blue, so the color shifts as the head turns. The 10K white gold stays quiet around all of that.
