A single oval blue topaz fills each drop, better than six and a half carats apiece, pale sky blue with the pavilion facets reading straight through the stone. The mount is anything but plain: an openwork navette frame wraps each oval and finishes in pierced points above and below, so the outline comes to a soft spear shape instead of a simple bezel. French wires carry the pair, which lets the whole frame swing forward off the lobe.
Forty one millimeters top to bottom in rhodium plated silver. Two stones do the work, but the pierced metal around them is what gives the earrings their shape.
