The front of this necklace is a vine. Fine silver stems curve down from either side and meet at the centre, throwing off short tendrils, and a round blue topaz is prong set at the end of each one so the stones hang at staggered heights like buds along a branch.
Nothing sits in a straight line, which is the point. The piece carries depth across the collarbone rather than lying flat, and the pale ice blue reads brightest at the lowest stones where they catch the most light. The stems are lightly textured along their length and the rest is plain cable chain, 18 inches with a lobster clasp. 7.32 carats across all the stones.
