The head of this ring is a square step cut blue topaz with clipped corners, held inside a beaded milgrain frame of white metal that squares the outline and lifts it off the finger. A pear cut blue topaz sits to either side in a scrolled mount finished with the same beading, so the ring reads three stone across the finger rather than as a solitary stone.
All three are the same clear, cool blue, and sterling silver leaves them there; nothing in the metal pulls the color warmer. The three together come to 3.78 carats, and at size 7 US the head spans most of the finger's width.
