The shank crosses over itself and finishes at two opposed points, each capped by a pear cut chrome diopside in deep forest green. Every pear gets its own full halo of small white topaz, and the topaz then continue down both arms of the crossover in a fine pave line, so the ring draws a bright S across the finger with green at each end. The two stones point in opposite directions and pass close without touching.
Rhodium plated sterling silver keeps the metal white, which pushes the green forward rather than absorbing it. The bypass form sits low and follows the finger, and at a size 7 the two haloed points fall to either side of the knuckle.
