The chrome diopside is set as dozens of small round stones pave across the face of a heart in gold toned metal, so the green covers the whole surface. Cutting diagonally across it is a band of baguette cut white topaz in white metal, a hard straight line through an otherwise curved and busy field. Chrome diopside runs a deep forest green, considerably darker than emerald, and the white baguettes are what stop it going flat.
