An oval cut citrine stands upright at the middle of the pendant, and every other stone is a round set in concentric rings around it, the rows tightening as they reach the rim so the whole face domes outward to 6.6 millimeters deep. The prongs are shared gold beads that sit between the stones rather than over them, which is why the orange runs from edge to edge with almost no metal breaking it up.
The color is a deep burnt orange rather than a pale yellow, and the 18K yellow gold plating carries straight into it through the fluted bail and on into the chain. At 32 by 18 millimeters on a 16 inch chain the cluster sits high on the chest, just below the collarbone, where its depth catches light from above.
