The citrine is a pear, bezel set in a smooth rub over rim, and the chrome diopsides around it are marquise cut and laid radiating outward with their points facing away from the stone. That turns the halo into a sunburst rather than a tight collar: twenty six green marquises at graduated lengths, longest at the shoulders, shortest at the tip of the pear. Green pushed against golden yellow is the whole design.
The head rides high over a rhodium plated silver shank that doubles just below the collar. Seven carats in total, with the marquise points carrying the outline well past the center stone.
