Hoops rather than drops. Oval citrines run around the outer face of each hoop and carry on around the inner face, so the gold plated silver shows as little more than the claws between them. The stones range from pale straw to a deeper amber gold, which stops the circle from reading flat.
At 25 millimeters across and 4 wide these sit tight to the lobe, a small hoop worn close rather than a wide one. The 3.18 carats are divided across every stone in the pair, and the plating holds the metal in the same golden register as the citrine so the two run together.
