Each earring centers a large round citrine ringed by a close set halo of small round garnets, so the warm honey of the middle is outlined in deep red rather than sitting beside it. The two colors are near enough on the wheel to read as one warm glow across a room, and the difference only declares itself close up.
The discs hang from plain lever backs in gold plated silver, 30 by 15 millimeters overall, swinging clear of the ear.
