Golden-yellow ovals, five of them, sit shoulder to shoulder along the raised top of a wide silver band, each in its own small claw setting so a thread of metal shows between one stone and the next. The line runs the full width of the finger and stops square at both ends, which gives the ring the profile of a plaque rather than a solitaire. At 0.78 carats for the group the individual stones stay small and sit low.
Against silver the citrine reads as clean amber rather than brassy. The band is flat-topped and thickens toward the shoulders, so the row of stones stays level across the top of the finger. Ring size 7 US.
