Three rows of small round citrine run across the top of this band, packed shoulder to shoulder, with tiny white topaz dropped into the gaps between them so the surface breaks into alternating warm and bright points instead of reading as one block of color. The citrine sits on the orange side of golden, and the gold plating puts the metal in the same warm register as the stones.
It is a band rather than a solitaire. The stones cover the top third of the ring and no single one of them stands above the rest, which is what gives the piece its even, continuous surface. At size 7 it lies low and flat across the finger before narrowing to a plain shank behind.
