Cushion cut citrine, square through the outline with the corners rounded off, and the faceting on the crown is cut in broad wedges that hand back big planes of honey gold instead of fine sparkle. Four claws in white metal grip the corners and sit low, which lets the full face of each stone stay visible from the front.
Nearly six carats across the pair means each stone covers most of the lobe at 9 by 9 millimeters, and the bright sterling silver around them reads cool and hard against all that warm gold color. There is no halo, no drop and no accent stone anywhere in the design; the citrine is the entire piece.
