The silver is drawn here as a large open teardrop, a plain polished outline with nothing inside it but air and one stone. A kite shaped chrysoprase cabochon hangs at the center of each frame, its dome returning a soft even apple green all across the surface instead of the flashes a faceted stone would throw.
At 40 by 19 millimeters the open outline is the biggest part of the design and the cabochon reads as the still point suspended within it. Just under nine carats across the pair, on simple silver tops.
