Each drop is a marquise shaped panel of openwork, its interior filled with polished silver scrollwork that curls into loose spirals and circles, the whole outline traced in small pavé set diamonds. The stones stay on the border, so what reads at a distance is a lit edge around an open center rather than an all over pavé face.
One hundred forty diamonds do that outlining for 0.70 carats in total, half a point to a stone. At 44 by 21 millimeters the panels are broad as well as long, and each one hangs from a short fixed bail below a post fitting in rhodium plated silver.
