The outline of the stones is the thing to notice here: every emerald is pear cut, and every pear is turned the same way, so the row leans consistently in one direction around the wrist. A single round diamond fills the notch between each pear and the next, which keeps the points from crowding.
Green against white gold is a cool combination, and this one is cooler still because the emeralds carry a soft, slightly milky green rather than a dark one.
