A round gold toned disc with Mom engraved across it in a flowing script, and a small heart set above the word holding three tiny round emeralds. The disc is otherwise plain and polished, so the engraving and that single spot of green carry the whole design. Thirty by twenty millimetres including the heart, on an eighteen inch chain. The emerald weight is small by intent; this is a piece about the message rather than the stone.
