An oval emerald of 1.24 carats on four claws, with a single row of small white topaz set close around it, 0.28 carats in total. At 19 by 10 millimeters including the bail this is a small pendant, and the halo is what makes it visible: the ring of colorless stones puts a bright edge on the green and roughly doubles what the eye registers as the stone. It hangs from an 18 inch chain on a plain bail.
