The whole top of this ring is emerald. Marquise cut stones are packed in three staggered rows across a wide sterling silver band, set so tightly that the pointed ends of one row slot between the stones of the next and the green runs unbroken from edge to edge. Their combined weight is 2.98 carats.
Shared claws hold the stones at the joins, which keeps the visible metal down to slim bright points between them. The band itself is broad and flat, so despite the number of stones the ring sits low and wears like a band rather than a raised cluster. Ring size 7 US.
