Three oval emeralds set in a row across the finger, 0.82 carats between them, with pairs of tiny white topaz standing in narrow vertical bars between each pair of stones. A three stone ring reads differently from a solitaire of the same total weight: the eye travels along the row instead of settling on a point, and the piece occupies more width for less depth. The band tapers away sharply on either side so all the mass stays at the top of the ring.
