This is not a single line of stones. Ninety-two marquise cut garnets are set in two rows on opposing diagonals, meeting tip to tip so the whole length reads as a run of chevrons down the wrist. The doubling makes the band noticeably wider than a standard tennis line and gives the deep red a continuous surface with no metal gaps breaking it up.
18K white gold plated silver frames every marquise in bright prongs and picks up light along the seam where the two rows meet. A box clasp with a hinged safety latch closes it. At 7 inches the 18.40 carats sit close, and it is the width, not the length, that you notice on the wrist.
