All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Nine round garnets are laid out as a lozenge: one at the top, then a row of two, a row of three across the widest point, two more, and a single stone at the base. The head therefore runs lengthwise up the finger rather than across it, tapering to a point at each end in the navette outline of an older style of cluster.
Each garnet is held by small silver beads raised between the stones, and a wavy openwork frame follows the edge of the whole group. The red stays consistent from stone to stone, so the face reads as one continuous field of color cut through by bright metal. On a size 6 the cluster covers most of the length of the finger above the knuckle.
