All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Oval garnets run around the face of each hoop in an unbroken row, about ten stones to a side, held in shared claws so almost no metal shows between them. The color is a dark wine red that deepens toward the girdle of each stone and opens to a clear bright red where light passes through the table. Open backs behind the settings let that light in from behind as well.
Each hoop measures 25 millimeters across and a slim 4 millimeters wide, closing with a hinged bar and snap. Gold plated sterling silver warms the red rather than cooling it, and at this diameter the pair hugs the lobe and reads as a ring of color instead of swinging free.
