Two haloed garnets to each earring, the smaller above and the larger below, joined by a single round white topaz in its own collet. Each garnet sits in a gold bezel with a full pavé ring of small white topaz worked around it, so the dark red is doubly outlined.
The tiers swing independently across a 37 millimeter length. Gold plating warms the garnet while the pavé stays white, which keeps both halos reading as light rather than as metal.
