Five oval garnets run in a single file down the length of a flat topped sterling silver band, each caught in its own small prongs and set close enough that the row reads as one continuous bar of dark red laid across the finger. The stones are matched in size and share the same deep tone, so nothing in the line steps ahead of the rest.
The band is wide and squared off, with straight polished flanks rising to the raised plaque that carries the stones, and it sits flat rather than lifted. 0.98 carats of garnet across the five.
