Five garnets run in a single channel across the face of a wide sterling silver band, set close enough that the row reads as one continuous bar of deep red. Each is a small oval laid on its side so the line spans the width of the finger, and the silver walls rise flush to their girdles instead of gripping them with claws.
At 0.98 carats divided among the five, no single stone dominates; the effect is a band with color let into it rather than a ring with a stone on top. The shank keeps a broad, flat, high polish profile straight through, so at size 7 it wears as a mirror finish half band.
