A spider hangs from each hoop on a fine cable chain, swinging well below the ear. Two garnets build the body: a small round stone for the head and a pear cut set point down for the abdomen, both deep red and both claw set into gold plated silver. Eight legs curl out and back from the sides, sculpted round rather than flat, so the figure keeps its volume from any angle.
Overall length runs 40 millimeters against a width of just 9, which means the earring reads at rest as a thin vertical line with all its weight and detail gathered at the bottom. Garnet totals 0.56 carats across the pair.
