The garnets are heart cut, which is easy to miss at a glance and changes how the whole line reads. Each heart is claw set with its point running along the length of the bracelet, and between every pair sits a small square plate holding one round diamond in an illusion setting that makes the stone look larger than its weight.
Eleven carats of garnet against eight hundredths of a carat of diamond is a deliberate imbalance: the red carries the piece and the white simply interrupts it at even intervals. The color is dark, closer to brick than to bright, and it deepens further where the point of each heart sits. A box clasp with a safety catch closes the 7.25 inch length.
