The green amethyst is emerald cut, a step cut rectangle whose long parallel facets give a slower, more measured return of light than a brilliant would. At 10.50 carats it covers most of the width of the finger, held at the corners by four prongs in a raised basket.
A pear cut peridot points inward from each shoulder, laid on its side so the three stones make one continuous line across the hand. The peridots read a deeper and more saturated green than the pale mint of the center, which keeps them separate rather than letting them blend into it. The shank is plain polished rhodium plated silver with nothing else competing.
