Green amethyst carries a soft, cool green quite unlike the usual violet, and here two stones total ten carats across a pair of long drop earrings. Set in 14K yellow gold plated sterling silver, the warm metal plays against the pale green of the gems. At fifty-one millimeters they fall well below the ear with a clear, elegant line, and this pair was made only once.
