A cushion cut green amethyst hangs at the base of each wire, pale as sea glass and cut with a broad open table that keeps the color even from edge to edge. Twenty round white topazes ring each stone in a tight halo, set close enough that the outline reads as a continuous line of light around the soft green.
The drops run 20 by 15 millimeters on plain shepherd hooks, so they swing free and the rhodium plated silver stays quiet behind the color. Two green amethysts carry 9.20 carats between them, with the forty topazes adding 1.26 more.
