The green here is soft and slightly gray, nearer sage than grass, and each oval green amethyst is cut with a checkerboard crown that breaks its surface into small squares of light instead of a few broad flashes. The stones are claw set at four points, 5.28 carats across the pair, and each hangs directly beneath a tapered surmount.
That surmount does the lifting: 0.14 carats of small white diamonds pavé set into a shape that narrows to a point where the earring meets the lobe, so the eye runs from a bright, tight top down into the broader, quieter stone. Sterling silver holds the palette cool, and at 15 by 9 millimeters the pair sits within the lobe without crowding it.
