A cushion cut green amethyst holds the center in a soft, cool green, nearer to pale leaf than to anything deeper, and a squared halo of small white stones runs right around it. The halo squares off the outline and lifts that light color away from the skin, and a short run of the same small stones carries on up the bail.
The green is pale enough to read as a tint rather than a solid block of color, and the white metal around it keeps that reading clean instead of warming it. At 23 by 16 millimeters on a fine chain, the pendant sits at the base of the throat and stays quiet against the collarbone.
