A round brilliant green amethyst holds the center, pale and cool in tone, ringed by a tight halo of small white diamonds that draws a bright outline around the edge of the stone. Squared plaques set with green diamonds sit at each shoulder, flush against the halo, so the deeper green reads as two blocks flanking the paler center.
The green-on-green exchange happens at close range, with the white halo holding the two tones apart rather than letting them merge. Sterling silver keeps the whole setting cool and unwarmed. The three stone weights add to one carat in total, and the mount sits low and compact across a size 8 finger.
