All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
A cushion cabochon of green chalcedony fills the head of this ring, close to twenty carats on its own, polished rather than faceted so it returns one soft even sweep of light across the dome instead of flashes. Around it runs a full border of small oval faceted stones set upright in claws: purple amethyst, pink red rhodolite garnet, green chrome diopside and blue kyanite, alternating so no two of the same color sit side by side.
The colored border does the work a halo of white stones usually would, which is what gives the ring its scale on the hand. Rhodium plated silver keeps the frame neutral between the calm green center and the four colors circling it.
