The diamonds are not on the band at all. They sit on a raised leaf shaped plaque that crosses the shank on the diagonal, pointed at both ends, and that plaque carries two cuts doing two different jobs: a single row of round stones traces the outer edge while a curved channel of tapered baguettes spirals inward toward the center.
Running between them is a polished ribbon of rose gold that curls through the middle of the leaf and splits it, so the warm metal reads as part of the pattern rather than as backing. The interest is in that contrast, step cut baguettes lying flat in their channel against round stones catching light around the rim, 0.29 carats in total. The band itself stays plain and rounded in 14K rose gold, sized at 7 US.
