Three rows build the face of this band. Down the middle runs a line of round brilliants that grow toward the center, the largest sitting at the top of the finger, each in its own set of prongs. Above and below, tapered baguettes fan outward on the diagonal like the ribs of a shell, which domes the band instead of leaving it flat.
Fifty-five stones divide a single carat between them, so the return is a dense field of small flashes rather than one broad one. Platinum keeps the whole face white, with nothing warm behind the diamonds to shift them. Across the top it reads considerably wider than a plain band and stands proud of the finger. Nothing else will be assembled to this pattern.
