All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Two paved bands cross and loop through one another in these studs, one set with black diamonds and the other with white, so the pattern alternates dark and light as the knot turns over itself. Where the black band passes behind the white the contrast is at its sharpest, and a small open gap at the middle of the knot keeps the form legible instead of solid.
The counts are near even: 90 black stones at 0.51 carats against 94 white at 0.49, one carat in all. At 17 by 10 millimeters each earring stands upright against the lobe on a post and friction back in rhodium plated sterling silver.
