All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
An oval larimar cabochon of 4.48 carats, pale sky blue and polished rather than faceted, surrounded by a sunburst of marquise cut tanzanites pointing outward from the stone. The tanzanites total 1.58 carats and their violet blue is several shades deeper than the larimar, so the halo works as a dark ring that makes the cabochon look paler and more luminous than it does on its own. Cabochon and faceted stones in one piece is an unusual pairing; the smooth dome absorbs light while the marquises throw it back.
