The lemon quartz is a single cushion cut stone of 5.68 carats, set high and squared to the finger, its broad table carrying a pale golden yellow right across the face of the ring. Around it runs a squared halo of peridot, 3.64 carats in total: a pear cut at the midpoint of each side with its tip turned outward, and at every corner a small floret of oval cut stones fanned open against polished sterling silver.
The green reads cool and grassy against the warm yellow of the quartz, which is what makes the pairing hold together rather than compete. Everything sits on a plain polished shank that narrows as it leaves the head, keeping the visual weight in the cluster. This is a cocktail ring in the proper sense, wide across the knuckle and legible from across a room. Ring size 7 US.
