Two blues at once. A pear cut London blue topaz of 2.08 carats sits at the center, dark and inky, ringed by round blue topaz of the paler sky variety totalling 2.32 carats, and the gap between the two shades is wide enough that the center stone looks almost black by comparison in some light. Around them a gold plated teardrop frame is pierced with scrollwork, so a warm outline encloses a cool center. At 44 by 27 millimeters it hangs as a full drop.
