The oval London blue topaz at the center is ringed first by a close pave halo, then by a full circle of pink tourmalines cut as ovals and pears, with more pave scalloping the outer edge. The result is a broad flowerhead that covers the width of the finger, a cocktail ring in every proportion.
Steely blue at the middle against warm pink around it is the whole idea, and the band of white metal between the two colors is what keeps them from muddying into each other. The tiers sit at slightly different heights, the outer petals dropping just below the center stone. Sterling silver, size 7.
