The oval london blue topaz is bezel set at the center of a long openwork plaque that runs north to south along the finger, and the deep steely blue looks darker still against the bright white topaz packed around it. The plaque is built in scrolled sections with milgrain edges, so the small stones follow curves rather than sitting in a plain circle.
Sterling silver keeps the whole palette cool. Sized at 7 US, it covers a good part of the finger and reads as a cocktail ring rather than a plain band.
