An oval moonstone cabochon fills the center of this ring, its dome returning a soft blue white sheen that travels across the surface as the hand turns rather than breaking into separate flashes. Around it, twelve pear cut aquamarines are claw set with their points facing outward to form a full petal halo, and small round stones fill each notch where two pears meet.
The aquamarine total of 5.14 carats is divided among those pears, none of them large on its own; together they build a head about the width of the finger. Sterling silver runs throughout, cool enough to leave both the cabochon and the pale blue alone. At size 7 it sits high and wide, a cluster ring in the full sense.
