This ring is built outward in concentric circles: an oval moonstone cabochon at the middle, then a close ring of small white diamonds, then a full band of round pink tourmalines, then one more diamond ring finishing the rim. What it adds up to is a broad domed disc wide enough to span the whole width of the finger, cocktail scale by any measure.
The moonstone floats a blue sheen across its dome that shifts as the hand moves, and cut as a cabochon it gives back one soft body of light rather than flashes. Against it the tourmaline band reads warm and pink, and the two diamond circles keep the colors from bleeding into one another. Sterling silver throughout, sized at 7.25 US.
