Each drop is a butterfly. Four morganites form the wings, a pair of larger pears above and a pair below, every stone cut to the wing shape and set so the points converge at a raised rose toned body with two curling antennae above it. A fine outline of small white stones traces the upper edge of each wing and picks the silhouette out against the skin.
Morganite's peach pink is a quiet color and the rose toned plating sits in almost the same register, so the piece reads as a single soft tone with the pale outline supplying the definition. The butterfly hangs from a leverback, thirty by eleven millimeters overall, and turns a little with movement.
